Goals of the Society

• Establish an interactive center to address collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition.
• Inventory all objects donated or loaned to the Olathe Historical Society.
• Develop educational programming, set up a publications schedule and establish a special events calendar which will promote cooperation among similar area historical groups.
• Manage collections according to professional standards and practices.

The Olathe Historical Society is interested in the identification, collection, preservation and interpretation of materials and information related to the history of Olathe.

We would love to have you to contact us concerning items you would like to donate to the Olathe Historical Society.
